This bylined AP report against plans by some countries to allow polluting industries to plant cheap forests, to offset pollution, is really just a Greenpeace PR release. No other sources or viewpoints are disclosed; and if the topic is that important to Greenpeace, then it should be explored via standard journalism methods--finding those who disagree, citing facts, conducting research and otherwise doing more legwork and less promotion.

This AP report on the Business Week site qualifies so much as a PR release that I provide a link to that effect on Inside PR. The dispatch, bylined no less, is an example of biased journalism--and important, in that respect--so that NewsTrust viewers can juxtpose this one-sided account with others more factual and fair, posted on climate change.
