Who cares? The Chevy Volt was always going to be an impracticable, low production, propaganda car.

The Volt is the successor to the ill fated EV1 and presumably it will suffer the same fate - the crusher. It's hard to blame GM for giving the doofuses in Washington what they want, though it be comically stupid.
