While reading this honest and somewhat relevant article, and I looked at the statistics, I couldn't help thing of New Orleans. If you put the numbers from Baghdad and elsewhere, next to New Orleans and elsewhere, it kind of spooky.Also in some ways the reports of violence, except for the bombing, is kind of like the newspapers in New Orleans and elsewhere.

Maybe this is what Bush wanted when he said Democracy in Iraq should be as good as our own. And speaking of the missing 5 billion....,
