This opinion piece is good journalism. It is a highly partisan piece, but avoids the usual attacks by Democrats and their allies. It gives credit to conservatives for their positions even while not agreeing with them. The authors fail to note the great progress made by non-whites and women in the election. More woman governors and more minority governors will be Republicans than Democrats in 2011! It also falls short in saying that Republican voters are ill-informed and dependent on Fox News. Most economists consider the stimulus to have been a waste (as the authors kind of imply) and ObamaCare a truly bad piece of legislation that is already killing jobs and ended health care insurance for millions of Americans.
