Don't let outrage at bonuses make a bad economy worse

These days, as public anger soars over AIG bonuses, fanned by cable television and Congress and indulged by President Obama, it seems we have arrived at a Gallic moment - or something more scary. When an Iowa Republican, Sen. Charles E. Trudy Rubin attempts to put outrage over AIG bonuses in perspective with an opinion on the real source of American outrage.

I find Trudy Rubin's columns thoughtful, well written and often insightful. While I don't always agree, I do always respect her intelligent approach.
