Arnold sparks revolutionary energy plan

In the state's biggest, immediate step toward cutting global warming pollution, Gov. Schwarzenegger on Tuesday began shifting California's 26 million cars and trucks off petroleum-based fuels and toward alternatives that emit less greenhouse gas.

We have heard the contrary opinions all to often for the last six years. What's really interesting about this article is that the states, in the face of no federal action, are beginning to mandate their own energy policies to address the various problems of our current energy systems. Arnold keeps suprising me. Industry quotes are interesting as well.
