This story didn't start this week. This month. This Year. The Americans appetite for drugs is the biggest culprit. But changing the drugs laws in the U.S. is a non-starter. We would rather throw billions at South American countries, who are getting paid twice. Once by Uncle Sam sending billions that have no effect what so ever, and again when Americans are buying their drugs. There was a drug war. We lost. Get over it.

California, as usual, has a great idea about selling permits to grow pot, taxing that pot, and putting billions in California's coffers. All they need is some common sense laws.
