The horrifying drug-war violence south of our border with Mexico continues to worsen, and we're the ones subsidizing it.

The regulation and decriminalization of marijuana was the most popular change on change.gov, and the Obama administration did not take it up. Articles like this and local actions will be need to effect bottom-up democracy on this issue.

It is rumored that pot is the number one cash crop in California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. How do they get their data?
