So-so report, contrasting the styles of Bush and Obama. Bush very full of himself as a so-called "war president and pretending to be keeping on top of developments. Obama, of course, endorsed sending yet more US troops to Afghanistan.

The US is squandering scores of billions of the Afghanistan quagmire, when dealing with the problems of that country could better be left to the Russians, Iranians and the Chinese (with the Indians waiting in the wings). American will be seen as the occupier and the enemy of Obama keeps escalating the US military presence in Afghanistan. Time to start thinking of leaving.
