The story seems vague as to what the points are it is trying to make. It makes no significant critique of the efficacy of the missile defense fiascoes nor the mission shift of NATO over the years.

Missile defense will not work reliably against ballistic missiles and not at all against suitcase bombs nor cruise missiles nor drones. Bush used NATO as a format for world domination in an attempt to deny any legitimacy to the United Nations. What the heck is NATO doing in Afghanistan? Surround Russia?
