This is a message that should have went out in the Clinton Admin. How can we be allies with Vietnam, with over 50,000 killed and thousands more in wheelchairs and not at least have a fair conversation with Iran. These guys run the Middle east, not talking to them is like not talking to Russia.
This will not be easy. These guys like to be the center of attention, so diplomatically you can't have every conversation leaked to the press.
