This is an interesting article. The top stories of the main papers were no where near what the bloggers were writing about. The religion angle surprised me.I think the conservative politicians who who hide behind religion to try to win elections have a lot to do with the drop off. Also, you don't have to belong to an organization to believe in GOD.

The newspaper story was also interesting. While the big newspapers are all upset, the bloggers seem to be taking it in stride.
