Diebold Admits Systemic Audit Log Failure; State Vows Inquiry

Premier Election Solutions (formerly Diebold Election Systems) admitted in a state hearing Tuesday that the audit logs produced by its tabulation software miss significant events, including the act of someone deleting votes on election day.

There is more here from election officials than from Premier, but it's unusual to have a statement at all from the company. Non-profits are also included. Plenty of links and direct citations. The context is relevant, although a comparison to another voting system vendor would have been a nice addition.
