a major catastrophic warning to be given at the world economic forum meeting in istanbul. this isn't an issue at all in the forefront of news in this country at this time, although it clearly needs to be. i look forward to reading more and particularly how or if nations are planning to respond to this.
The article provides the warnings from two reports. Scientific pier evaluation is not provided of the data, but the two reports coincide and anecdotal data seems to confirm the warnings.
The aspect that global climate change and water shortages have in common is that the human population is too large for the planet to sustain. Water conservation is only a short term amelioration; populations must be reduced.
