Through the 1980s, the Democrats struggled over abortion. But by the 1990s, the share of Americans supportive of abortion rights had grown. Ezra Klein's brief blog post on this topic in the Washington Post is actually more informative than this piece, which fails to effectively explain what the new restrictions will look like.
