The poll has some value in the degree to which it reflects public opinion. It has misleading aspects in emphasizing the numbers of the naysayers. There is the aspect of "If lots of other people believe as I do, then it must be right." This it is a poll of ignorance rather than being informative of the science and the beliefs of informed experts in a scientific field. A missing topic of information is where do the naysayers get their information.
