Officials would prefer that certain problems remain invisible. The media spotlight can have mixed results as this story indicates.

Homelessness is a manufactured crisis constantly exploited by the left.

There is no interest on the left in fixing homelessness. That's why it will continue. The left's solution is always impracticable such as building nice houses and giving them for free to each homeless person. The problem could be cured overnight by prohibiting sleeping on the street and in parks and by contracting the Salvation army to provide shelters. Those who don't cooperate or are mentally ill could be dealt with in the proper way.
