Will Iran Come Out Of The Nuclear Closet?

According to Israel's top military intelligence officer, Maj.-Gen. Amos Yadlin, Iran had "crossed the threshold" and had the expertise and materials required to produce nuclear weapons. He announced this on the same day that Iran tested a precision air-to-surface missile with a 70-mile range, a weapon that would give it the ability to threaten US and other ships operating in the Persian Gulf. An interesting article that is surprisingly thoughtful. While everyone knows that the U.S. helped Israel build their first nuke, for peaceful purposes of coarse, Iran is really doing the same with Russians help. Good for the goose, good for the gander.

I personally would rather see Iran with one nuke, than Pakistan, which is fixing to explode, with a hundred.

The writer highlights how both Israel have developed their nuclear technology out of fear of neighboring countries. At the same time there is a double standard on focusing on Iran while giving Israel a wink and a nod.
