Jon Stewart's skewering of CNBC shouting head Jim Cramer may be remembered years from now as the media highlight of the financial meltdown. One quibble: Stewart talked too much. Having handed Cramer many feet of rope, Stewart might have done better to see whether Cramer would hang himself.

Stewart, who repeatedly eschews the label journalist, does such an incredible job of hold power-brokers to account. In this interview, more than anything else he got Cramer to essentially admit he's an entertainer, not a journalist.

A bit of depth, some exposed hypocrisy by the host towards Mr. Cramer. Fun to watch... Cramer is a scoundrel it seems trying to make amends for his past borderline criminal behavior. Cramer's effort appears superficial at best. Not great journalism, nothing new as far as content goes other than the confirmation of Cramer's own skullduggery.

An interesting piece by two entertainers working through the mess of Wall Street and the crash. A good bit of busting of Mr. Cramer's for his "do as I say, not as I do". Not much new detail, but amusing.

It is a travesty when the only honest financial reporting comes from comedy central. This was not Steart's first dressing down of "real" journalist, nor I sure will it be his last. Every new journalist talks about Woodard and Bernstien, Murl and Croncite, but get lazy and don't do their own fact checking, take the company line and print it and claim NO ONE COULD HAVE KNOWN.
