Really, really good look at this breaking story about Cheney hiding a secret spy program from the Congress. This one actually has quotes, and in-depth info.

This is why independent media is a viable alternative. The reporting here is better than the NYT in many respects.

Murder squads reporting directly to Cheney does not surprise us any more, but Hersh tends to uncover many of the biggest and most important stories with regularity. This revelation should get action.

Criminal charges of murder should be lodged against Cheney. Any secrecy of these reports should be handled appropriately by the courts, not hidden from law enforcement.

The journalism quality is wanting, but the importance of the article lies in the revelation by Seymour Hersh that Cheney had his own special ops that carried out assassinations on his orders. Hersh has proven possibly the most dependable investigative journalists of modern times (he uncovered Abu Ghraib and My Lai).
