Rogin's first paragraph makes statements like they were facts, his last two paragraphs quote officials saying to ignore any such information until the budget comes out.

The article should be good fodder for stirring up lobbyists for the military industrial media complex. The B-52s are still flying 50 years later; can other planes extend their life cycle?
