A solid overview of the ongoing financial travails of The New Republic, which is once again for sale. Would have benefited from better sourcing, as well as from some analysis of how TNR might better embrace the Web.

Breaking news: Longtime TNR chairman Marty Peretz is reportedly repurchasing his stake in the magazine from CanWest. Just posted in Links.
