Overpopulation seen as worst environment threat

HALTING the world's rocketing population growth is the key to solving global warming -- a solution that has been ignored or overlooked by leading climate change advocates.

Short says the solution is overlooked. Quite often it is studiously avoided because of the political backlash from various quarters. The view is well held and put forward in a brief article.
