Report: Diebold Voting System Has "Delete" Button for Erasing Audit Logs

The report shows defects in the ballot counting system both on the part of Diebold/Priemier and Ciber. The importance of the story is that it shows that our voting system and certification system is still flawed.

Public ballots should never be counted using secret proprietary software; the software must be open. Certification should not be outsourced to a private firm. Counting should never be conducted by a private firm.
