In discussing "pork" (i.e. earmarks) in this article it would have been informative if Ms Dowd had mentioned how much of it is repubicon and how much dem. I use to think quite highly of Dowd's writing, sometimes of late I wonder about it.

A succinct well written piece by Ms. Dowd who supported Ms. Clinton and then Obama's election. She seems surprised that the President's disdain for Pork laden bills didn't last the first 30 days. A few interesting earmarks I hadn't seen before.

Wall Street which listens carefully with a long view, has been voting on it's confidence in this President's ideas since election day and has fallen 3,000 Pts. Now his own, more vocal liberal friends are turning on him. Curiouser and curiouser..
