Bush Adm. Weighed Restricting 1st Amendment

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, the Justice Department secretly gave the green light for the U.S. military to attack apartment buildings and office complexes inside the United States, deploy high-tech surveillance against U.S. citizens and potentially suspend First Amendment freedom-of-the-press rights in order to combat the terror threat, according to a memo released Monday. Why does this not surprise me? In a well written article that is very informative, if true, means the nation would have been but on martial law, for the first time in history. While Bush & co. have done lots of damage to this country, if they would have shot at innocent civilians, this country would have exploded.

Why is it that these papers are just now coming out? Are all of Bush's deceitful lies going to keep coming out over the next few years?This is like water torture: Drip, Drip, Drip.
