An interesting article with some good context and background information. Nothing new, the destruction of tapes was revealed over a year ago, not clear whether these were new ones? The 1st Amedmant I am sure was discussed, as was I am sure the bombing of building in residential areas if terrorists are found with WMD's. Discussions of numerous options are always on the table, some are abhorent but perhaps needed. Glad to hear about it just the same, always good to get it out.

Governments, even ours do and consider all types of action in times of distress, 911 was certainly one. Roosevelt suspended all the civil rights of tens of thousands of Americans in WWII and locked them in camps. The real world is always a hard place. Hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20.
