This leans closer to emotional advocacy than to balanced journalism. It does give a nice summary of viewpoints expressed by various people., and the journal style gives a "you are there" feeling to it. With one solitary link buried in the middle, this is written mostly for those who already know about the protest. Presumably the Capitol Power Plant is a power plant in or near DC, but that is only hinted at.

This reminds me of the fantastic creativity that protesters put into their signs and chants, and even what they wear.
