A report of the effects of so-called clean coal and the marches who want it stopped. Clean coal. An oxymoron. If you think there such a thing as clean coal, take a trip to Appalachia. The children there have the lung capacity of a 20 year old smoker. All over the U.S. there are signs, "NO Smoking" in most office building. bars, buses, subways, etc,.etc. Yet you don't have city commissioners go to coal minds and breathing this foul air. If this country can't burn coal in a clean way, we need to re-adjust our thinking.

George Bush, when he did away with the caps, says we would be burning clean-coal. Their idea of clean-coal was to take one truckload of coal, take it across the street to another plant and wash it. Spray it off with water. That's clean coal. Give me a break.
