On Friday, administration officials led many Jewish leaders to believe that the president had decided to boycott the United Nation's "anti-racism" conference known as Durban II. Jimmy Carter is dead right on this issue, and Israel's adoption of an apartheid regime to achieve permanent suppression of the Palestinians, puts Israel's own security, and that of the US, needlessly at risk.
