Leahy, Pelosi Differ on Bush Inquiry

Leopold provides statements and gathers related opinions on how to proceed regarding torture and war crimes by the Bush administration.

Leahy thinks his stern voice will keep us from ever doing this again. That is inoperative if a large component of "us" wants to do this again and will, if all they face is Leahy's stern voice. It is not often I side with Pelosi, but Conyers is taking a stronger path, and criminal prosecution is what is needed. Enforce the law or the law is a joke.
