Its sheer bravery in bucking the tide of apologetics for Israel's behavior is in the best traditions of journalism.

My personal view is that Israel started wrong in 1917 and has exhibited historically heralded bad judgment every since. This is just another incident in the long and nasty relations between Zionism and realty, or religion and reality if you wish. The aphorism is choice is: "You always win on your own territory." and I don't mean territory some sky god gave to you, but territory you already live on. We shall see.
