The public perhaps does not realize that in Latin America the poorest are the Afro-Latin especially women. The writer does a good job reporting to the public that women have made their mark with higher education than men, but unfortunately much lower pay. However during these elections several female candidates will be running for the presidency, Alex Leff reports. He supports his attributions that Costa Rica ranks 9th (while US 69th) with women in politics.
