Rhetoric vs. Reality: The Budget and the Campaign Promises

The budget overview President Obama released on Thursday attempts to make good on his most ambitious campaign promises in the areas of taxes, health care and the environment.

Another example of Republican neocon Limbaugh logic; that is, manufactured trivial issues intended to divert attention from the relevant to the irrelevant.

One should not overlook the fact that Obama's budget contains what Bushies kept out of their budgets and concealed for years: the actual costs of their two wars.

Rather soft on the Obama budge which is generally and vague about his real agenda.

The bad news is that Obama's budget is a populist mess with negative economic consequences. The good news is that it will quickly destroy Obama's political credibility.
