The picture painted is compelling. The references for the analysis appear to be provided in links, but the story is spared the details. The massive planning necessary world wide, if the temperatures rise as the models suggest, is truly mind boggling.

We need to find a way to reverse population growth on the planet. The article avoids that planning path.

A very interesting forecasting of what a seemingly small increase in temperature could mean to Earth and its inhabitants. At times it paints a very dire picture of near extinction, and at other times provides a more positive look, although even in this case it won't be the world we're used to. Backed with a decent set of facts and good expert opinion, this article is definitely recommended reading.

Based on the best information to date, there is a high probability that the article is correct.

The only quibble I have with the scenario given is the likely time frame. See link.
