Though Hillary Rodham Clinton lives in their backyard, local Democrats are very much divided on whom to support for their party's presidential nomination next year.

This article provides a very good summary of what local Democratic political leaders are thinking about the 2008 Presidential race. It captures views from a good cross section of leaders and a cross section of views. Full disclosure: Kim Hynes, who was quoted in the article is my wife. I'm the person who took the call from the journalist and handed the phone to my wife. I often feel that journalists don't accurately capture what their sources are saying. However, having been in the room as my wife talked on the phone with Mr. Vigdor, I feel he has done a good job.

Fairly balanced in presenting the citizen's views about the regional as well as national front runners for the 2008 Presidential race.
