On Cherry Pond: Going Up Against Big Coal in West Virginia

The first time I was on Cherry Pond it was ramp season, and I joined Judy, Bo, Larry and Ed for the much anticipated spring ritual, in which the tasty wild onions are harvested and cooked in butter with potatoes. This is an opinion piece, which some folks will say lacks balance, but it explains what is being lost in a vivid fashion.In the links section, I've added a letter from Bo Webb, who is a WV native. (Roselle moved to WV at the invitation of local residents to help in the fight.) I've also included Ken Ward, Jr's piece on the arguments against Roselle, including what some say is an effort to distort his actions and discredit him.
