Refreshing jolt for setting aside bias in favor of discussion...the particular bias in question being those of us who dislike the opinions expressed by Sean Hannity, and in particular, black folk who scold a fellow black for appearing on Hannity's program.

I concur with the subtitle: Political disagreements should never lead to blind hatred. In the case of some of Hannity's tirades, I find it challenging to live up to the belief, but I'll try harder--developing dialog is too important to give up.

Ms. Nelson has the right to go on any program she deems necessary. If Michael Moore can go on O'Reilly so can she. Theres nothing wrong with being a conservative. Some of my best friends are. The problem arises when you become a Republican shill. When you call out your "dittoheads" to disrupt a gathering where violence might break out. When you can't have a civilized conversation without being told to "shut up". When Rush Limbaugh plays songs about Negro's, it doesn't make Blacks look bad, it just makes him look small.

I think that this article could have provided a little more context on the subject for why black people are so anti-Republican and blindly follow Democrats.
