On different pages when it comes to race

I wouldn't describe us as cowards. But I do think too many of us are intransigent with regard to race. And, for too many of us, race remains a Rorschach test in that we still can look at the same thing and see something totally different. Full Story »

The Internet has its limitations when facilitating discussions on race because people feel free to hide behind anonymity, saying things they wouldn’t say in face-to-face conversations. But for those serious about learning, I think the Internet offers ways to explore like never before.

The last sentence is key and hopeful, as the conversation and community supported by the Web can help people connect and understand each other more fully and accurately.
