Today's approval numbers via Rasmussen are:
45% approval for Bush
43% approval for Pelosi

Well, that's half the numbers. Filling in the other half (which, to Surber's credit, is linked from his post), we see that Bush is at 45% job approval and 54% disapproval, while Pelosi is at 43% favorable and 39% unfavorable. A point "story" on the point of the use of poll numbers. It's part of an interesting online conversation that a lot of bloggers have weighed in on, see the memeorandom link. The story to which this points (where it started from) has already been updated. Note that the first comment contains pointers to ongoing poll-data for the President. Links to the poll data for the Speaker aren't as prominently linked.

Arcane splitting hairs on polling data. Self concious journalistic introspection. Just not interesting unless you're a polling enthusiast.
