This appeared to be evidence that horse domestication arose in multiple locations. But a more recent study, published two years ago in Nature Genetics, revealed that the male "Y" chromosomes come from a much more limited number of stallions. This is an excellent look back in time at the domestication of the horse... Too bad we will never know whose bright idea it was to first try and ride one.
