A fairly balanced picture of the current stimulus battle. It's only right Republicans begin an economic debate concerning everyone's worry about the federal deficit. They were the ones who, in eight years, took it from zero to the highest deficits in our history. Speaking of history, ignore the pathetic job this article does on it

Republicans scream about the "portlus" bill (thank you, Rush) hoping it will fail--even though Bushies castigated those who wished for failure in Iraq. Does this mean we should ignore Republicans' two trillion-dollar reckless invasion of Iraq? Or forget Republicans' foray into socialism with their no-oversight $350 handout to Wall Street buddies?
