Senior US soldiers investigated over missing Iraq reconstruction billions

In what could turn out to be the greatest fraud in US history, American authorities have started to investigate the alleged role of senior military officers in the misuse of $125bn (£88bn) in a US -directed effort to reconstruct Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein. No--nowhere near enough sourcing, nowhere near enough naming of names, nothing the reader can double check--who the hell was the 24-year-old from a Republican family who forgot to renew the stock market lease? I'd definitely recommend this, but with a ton of warnings.

My gut tells me it is true, and there's more where it came from--but that's simply not good enough.
