Senior US soldiers investigated over missing Iraq reconstruction billions

In what could turn out to be the greatest fraud in US history, American authorities have started to investigate the alleged role of senior military officers in the misuse of $125bn (£88bn) in a US -directed effort to reconstruct Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein. Great outline of what seems to have happened following the start of the mess in Iraq. Gives some great examples of the thefts, when they happened and who was involed.

My feeling has always been we should have left the day the troops knew "The 12 Bunkers" that Rumsfeld said contained bombs were empty. War over, day is done "Andiamo!!!"
