GOP seethes over Charlie Crist's stimulus-plan support

Gov. Charlie Crist may be popular in Florida, but his unbridled support for the Democrats' stimulus package has Republicans seething.

As Democrats lavish praise on Florida's Republican governor for enthusiastically supporting their economic stimulus package, Republicans are questioning whether Crist damaged his future.

This is yet another political report containing 4 Ws and H of basic journalism, with the 5th W missing: What, for Pete's sake, is in the stimulus bill that so offends Republicans to the point of running against it in the future and dooming Crist for supporting it. This is shoddy journalism, folks: It contains no background other than what appeals to most people: partisan politics (contained in more than a few reviews here when we're supposed to be critiquing journalism).

When we read stories for politics rather than journalism, we fill in the missing facts subconsciously.
