For senators, tax questions are taxing

Journalism doesn't have to be a work of art to be effective and relevant, as the Politico shows in this piece. Reporting here was simple and straightforward but enterprising, as 99 Senators were asked to disclose who prepares their taxes and whether they've ever experienced any errors or discrepancies on returns. A good scrub. Nothing glamorous, but I wish we saw more of this kind of reporting.
