an interesting idea, with an implication that school funding would be more controlled by the state and therefore more uniform across property tax boundaries, thereby aiding education, but the article doesn't give enough information nor depth to understand what this particular system's advantages or disadvantages to education might actually be compared to other types of funding. touches on potential political concerns, but without enough info. what have other states' schools' experiences been?
