An inside look at the job of superintendent of the Houston, TX school system. While the article reports on some major issues in education that Superintendent Saavedra grappled with, this interview reads more like a "highlights" of his career. Probably more informative and relevant to those living in Houston, directly affected by the schools and his departure.
