This is very good journalism as it provides a window on significant societal change occurring in rural India as a result of educating women.
This story describes the outsourcing of data processing work from metropolitan to rural India where education and employment opportunities are often lacking and poverty abounds. The case described is a success story and the question is posed as to whether the example can be replicated. It is well written and fair but without much nuance.
a lovely story in which modern and traditional india seem to be merging in a positive way. the focus on people from rural and farming areas who have '"dedication and sincerity" is a reminder of the change from farms to industry in the u.s. history.
