Good start on elevating the visibility of the threat of climate change. Chu is in an excellent position to highlight the need for immediate change, and Tankersley's article puts the spotlight on his bully pulpit.

My personal preference would be to leave out the rantings of Senator Inhofe, who is unlikely to acknowledge climate change until his beloved Oklahoma experiences its SECOND Dust Bowl. Perhaps he should seek out some elder constituents and ask them what Oklahoma agriculture was like in 1930. The problem with Inhofe's thinking is twofold: first, his tenacious doubt is contradicted by increasingly dramatic and alarming reports worldwide; and worst, if he is wrong (as most of the ...
